NEW 900T MOULDING MACHINE

Rutland Plastics has just taken delivery of a new Engel 900T Duo injection moulding machine complete with integrated robot.  This new addition to the company’s range offers a shot weight of just under 7.1kgs.

The Duo refers to the new compact machine provided by a two-platen design.  This also offers the ability to mould taller or longer parts than is possible on Rutland Plastics’ existing large machines.  The design of this machine also differs from conventional injection moulding machines by having carriage guides for the moving platen rather than tiebars.

Cycle time reduction is also possible because of the high speed cylinders and fast locking action.  All this adds up to more cost effective moulding for the customer.
