Rutland Plastics offers a wide range of moulding opportunities with the range of equipment in its factory.

The most recent addition is a BMB 1700 Tonnes moulding machine with the world patented KW clamp system.  The machine was designed and manufactured to Rutland Plastics specification including an extra large injection unit with a 38kgs shot capacity.

The Oakham based injection moulder was established in 1956 and is still privately owned.  The new machine has been added to a wide range starting at 25 Tonnes and exemplifies Rutland Plastics’ policy of continuous investment enabling it to operate successfully in an extremely demanding marketplace.  The company offers a wide range of services from design through mould making and moulding, including gas assisted moulding, to machining and assembly.

“We have seen an increase in the number of large mouldings we are being asked to produce.” Says Rutland Plastics’ Production Manager, Malcolm Thwaites.  “This new machine increases our capabilities still further.”

There are very few contract injection moulding companies with machines of this size.  Rutland Plastics’ experience in large mouldings means they should be your first choice when considering an injection moulding project – especially if it is on the large side!
