COMPLETION OF FACTORY DEVELOPMENT

The July shutdown week saw the final moves for machinery.  The toolroom and secondary operations are now located in the new bay of the redeveloped factory site so that all manufacturing operations are now under one roof.

This will lead to substantial cost savings as secondary operations (and the toolroom temporarily) were located in an old, poorly insulated factory unit.  Furthermore, greater efficiencies can also be achieved by having all manufacturing operations in one area.  The redevelopment of the site has been a major investment for Rutland Plastics, but it shows the company's commitment to and confidence in the future.
