MALCOLM THWAITES RETIRES
After 40 years service with Rutland Plastics, Production Manager Malcolm Thwaites has decided to retire. However, he will not be putting his feet up as he intends to devote more time to his interests of training and competing with gun dogs.
Malcolm started at Rutland Plastics on the shop floor as a 16 year old and soon worked his way up to become Production Manager in 1980. He has helped immensely in making the decisions that has seen the company grow from just a handful of small machines to the multi-million pounds business it is today.
The management team will be restructured with Malcolm’s duties being split. Alistair Forbes, currently QC Manager, will become Operations Manager with responsibility for planning. All technical aspects of the moulding operation will become the sole concern of Moulding Manager, Dan Freckingham.
Everyone at Rutland Plastics would like to take this opportunity to thank Malcolm for his efforts over the years with the company and wish him a long and happy retirement.
