Do you chrome plastic parts?

Yes and no. We outsource the service, coordinating the process ONLY on behalf of a customer that we have moulded volumes high enough for us to manage this competitively.

Can you assemble products?

Yes we can. However, if there is anything that we cannot do, such as complex electronics, then we have partners that we can work with.

Can you provide packaging?

We source many different types of packaging for our customers. We are happy to work with you to specify what you need and then we can utilise our supply chain to get the best deal possible.

Can you store products?

We have a 3000m2 warehouse with 3000 pallet spaces. We hold stock for customers to ensure that they can access product quickly when they need it.

Can you deliver?

We work with a number of freight partners to ensure that we can meet the logistics needs of our customers, whether this be shipping direct or to a third party.

Do you use recycled plastics?

Yes, we increasingly use recycled plastics. We have long established partnerships with materials reprocessors to ensure that the material is of the best quality possible. Please refer to the page on our website for recycled plastics.

What is your biggest injection moulding machine?

We have 28 injection moulding machines ranging from 1700T down to 50T. These can produce parts as large as 48KG and as small as 1g.

Can you print onto plastics?

Yes, we offer both Screen Printing and Tampo (Pad) printing through our local partners who are experts in this area.

Can you paint plastics?

Many of the parts that we make are painted after moulding but we do not offer this service in house. However, we do have trusted partners that we work with.

Do you make tools in house?

Rutland Plastics has its' own in-house toolroom to make, repair and service tools. However we also use long term trusted suppliers in both the UK and China. We offer all options to our customers so that they can choose the best solution for their project. In an average year we commission between £500,000 and £1,000,000 of tooling for our customers.

Do you make rapid/prototype tools

Yes if required. We will work with you to develop your product through to production, we also offer many other methods of prototyping, please see our prototyping page for more information.

Do you offer design advice?

Yes we do. Our design engineers are experts at helping you optimise your part design for injection moulding.

Do you mould silicone?

No, however we can refer you to a reputable supplier.

Do you compression mould?
