
As Maintenance, Facilities & Safety Manager your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Ensuring the efficiency and reliability of the plant and machinery is maximised through the implementation of best-in-class practices.
- To ensure the health, safety and welfare of the company’s employees, visitors and customers through the delivery of best practices, whilst continually improving safety, reducing accidents & risk and driving a safety culture throughout the company.
- Accountable for Health & Safety compliance, COSHH, risk assessments etc. ensuring compliance to all relevant legislation and codes of practice.
- Monitoring and implementing improvements in production downtime and costs.
- Lead and co-ordinate the Maintenance team on-site, and contractors.
- Assist the planning and specification of new machinery and parts, installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment.
- Involvement, where appropriate in capital investment projects and work cross-functionally to deliver.
In order to be successful in your application, you will ideally have the following:
- Experience of leading people in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (ideally injection moulding but not necessarily).
- Relevant technical qualifications i.e. NEBOSH and current H&S awareness qualifications.
- A desire to support the improvement and growth of the business.
- Have an electrical bias and/or a solid mechanical skill-set, apprentice trained to BTEC minimum.
